At Netgen, we take our corporate social responsibility seriously and actively engage in various Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiatives. Our team endeavours to foster a culture of inclusivity and equal opportunities, raising awareness of critical issues such as psychological well-being and work-life balance.
Guided by our core values, we strive to make a meaningful impact on our clients, employees and the communities in which we operate.
Corporate Social Investment – making an impact
Our goal is to go beyond serving our customers and creating high-quality job opportunities. We believe in making a positive impact on the world, which is why we actively support and promote meaningful initiatives.
Supporting the arts
The arts are a vital part of what makes our society and culture worthwhile. This is why the company has become regular supporters of the theatre world. The directors will often organise trips to the theatre for staff members to watch and support local productions.
In 2024, Netgen started actively sponsoring events and productions as part of its corporate social investment initiatives. The first was Mr Gay World and more recently, the new Paul Slabolepszy play, Bitter Winter, in 2025.
Mandela Day
Mandela Day is a massive and important part of the South African landscape. A day where people around the world are encouraged to give back, just for 67 minutes. Netgen has proudly supported this initiative through donation drives within the company. Netgen employees have generously donated time, funds and food to animal shelters each year. Recipients of these drives include TEARS and Tom Ro Haven.
