Atlatech is a marine and salvage operation based in Cape Town. The company has been in business for more than 30 years in South Africa and came to us looking for some software development assistance. First up, though, was a fresh website redesign.
The new website was designed using a custom WordPress theme. We chose this route as it allowed us to better showcase the team at Atlatech, as well as the services they provide. WordPress is also an excellent platform for an instant improvement to your SEO and to become mobile-friendly. Since going live with the website at the end of last year, we have seen solid growth in traffic to the site and an improved ranking on Google.
What’s next for Atlatech and Netgen?
Netgen has been further contracted to build new customer and leads systems, as well as a number of statutory systems for the marine salvage and diving experts. This solution will be specialised custom software that doesn’t currently exist on the market.
Our team is already busy with developing the first phase of this project, after our business analyst sat with the Atlatech team to confirm the system requirements and specifications. We also decided to work in phases, using the modular approach, to allow Atlatech to start using the software as soon as possible. They will receive regular portions of the overall solution that they can start testing and using as we go. Once the entire solution is complete, the Atlatech team will be able to seamlessly use each module as one system.
