Our team interpreted this to mean that we would need to create a completely bespoke software solution.

The challenge our developers faced

Essentially, EMS provides software and data-driven solutions for the motor-vehicle industry with a focus on claims, fleet, repair, service and maintenance workflows. Their clients range from fleet companies and car rental providers to insurance providers and accident assessors.

This meant that their software requirements were complex and the solution needed to be flexible, robust and able to scale.

Our team at Netgen built the EMS platform from the ground up. Our business analysts spent time with the client, going through as many use case scenarios as possible to ensure that the initial deployment covered their existing customers.

When the software first went live, the platform was able to help companies manage vehicle claims, maintenance plans, and service schedules – all in one place. For instance, it tracks odometer readings and automatically indicates what services are due, ensuring proactive vehicle maintenance.

After the first iteration was deployed, we continued to work with their team to expand the system as new use cases cropped up. Several new modules have gone live, including a white-label version of the platform that insurance companies can use to manage their own claims processes.
